Dr. Khushbu Patel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) serving individuals and families in the Valdosta and Tifton communities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from the University of Georgia in 2018 and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University in 2020. In 2025, she completed her Ph.D. in Human Services and Family Science with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech, where she also earned a certificate in Gerontology, strengthening her work with individuals and families across the lifespan.

Dr. Patel works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating concerns such as depression, anxiety, substance use, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. Her approach is grounded in a systemic and trauma-informed lens, recognizing the impact of relationships and lived experiences on overall well-being. She strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported as they work toward meaningful change. Dr. Patel is committed to providing culturally responsive care and looks forward to pursuing Florida licensure while continuing to expand her clinical training in approaches such as CBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy to better serve her clients’ evolving needs.

Kali is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) serving the
community of Valdosta, GA. She is a local and graduated from Valdosta State University
in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, as well as a Spanish for
Professionals certificate. In 2023, she graduated from Valdosta State University with a
Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kali has served the city of Valdosta
by providing mental health services in a community-based service board setting since
then. She is working towards full licensure as an LMFT and hopes to complete this by
the end of 2026. 


Kali has worked with a multitude of presenting concerns, such as depression, anxiety,
ADHD, substance use, relational issues, grief, and trauma. She has worked with a
variety of populations, such as families, couples, and individuals with ages ranging from
young children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and all the way to senior-aged. She is
also a gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly therapist, as well as being trauma-
informed. She is looking forward to exploring more issues within a private practice
setting, including family conflict, OCD, life transitions, and mental health for individuals
experiencing difficulties during pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum times of their lives. 
Kali works from a person-centered therapy and family systems therapy framework, with
some influences from solution-focused and narrative therapy. She has completed her
Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training and hopes to expand into
further training such as Play Therapy, EMDR, IFS, EFT, ACT and DBT.

With over 31 years of experience in the field of social work, Michael Norman brings a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. His background spans substance abuse treatment, school social work, and community-based services. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he offers compassionate, client-centered care to help promote healing, growth, and resilience. He currently serves at AR Psychiatric and Counseling Services in Tifton, GA.


Michael recently completed the first face-to-face Advanced BLAST Certification Training held in the USA and is now a Certified Advanced BLAST Practitioner. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, grief, and has a special focus on trauma and PTSD using this approach, which he views as a rapid, versatile, kind, and intuitive treatment for both simple and complex traumas. He also provides counseling related to the management of stress and relationship issues, working with clients to foster mindfulness, coping skills, and increased insight. His hope is to help his clients connect and correct the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be acting as barriers to the life they want to lead.

Mikeya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the entire state of Georgia. She graduated from St. Leo University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a Specialization in Administration. In 2018 she obtained a Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University. Mikeya has served the community and state at large for over 14 years with a passion for therapy, advocacy, and mental wellness.

Mikeya is a clinically trained trauma professional offering support to heal trauma and increase your self-esteem by identifying triggers for anxiety, depression, and the reappearance of trauma in your daily life. You can work with her to remove the barriers that block your path to SUCCESS while increasing the comfort you feel in your daily life. She is trained in EMDR and hypnosis.
