I obtained my associate’s degree from Abraham Baldwin agricultural college. I then completed my bachelors degree from Capella university in the year of May 2020. Following this, I thought long and hard about the road ahead. I knew psychiatry was the niche for me since I was 13 years of age. Aneisa Young, LCSW

Tifton, GA

I’m Aneisa Young, a licensed clinical social worker in Tifton.
I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples by helping identify what may be hindering optimal
performance and stability. When you come to therapy, you can be vulnerable and talk through your thoughts and feelings that you may not be comfortable sharing with your inner circle.

By building a therapeutic relationship with an attuned, caring therapist you will find new ways to solve problems, heal trauma, and change the way you live your life. I will assist you in identifying your needs and developing skills necessary to become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
I’m not your typical “how does that make you feel” kind of therapist – you’ll find that I am transparent and direct, all while being compassionate. I will also have my co-therapist by my side, my fur baby named Chewy.

I have worked in the field of mental health for two decades and worked as a professional therapist since 2004. I use a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, stress management, increasing self-worth, inner child work, including mindfulness, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment, and work/life balance.

I am also certified as an Advanced BLAST Practitioner.
Together we can get to the root of what is holding you back in life. Are you ready for a change? If so,
schedule a session with me today!
